In this context, I will be explaining how you use Google Plus the social network from an internet marketing point of view, to get both traffic, and rankings.

Obviously Google owns Google Plus, so it will probably play quite an important role in SEO how many connections you have on the site.

I just read a blog post from a guy who swears that Google Plus doubled the amount of traffic to his site, practically overnight. How does this happen? You can add people all day long as far as I can tell, there are no limits on the amount of connections you can make, or people you can put in your circles.

It’s up to them if they want to add you back, but if you add the right people to the right circles, you will get a high percentage of people adding you back. How do you add the right people to your circles on Google Plus?

Using Google Plus to Get Traffic

One of the things you will see on my profile is the people I have in circles, and the people who have me in circles.

I am not a social person, so none of these people actually know me, they are just those who have added me back, and I got those people to put me in their circles because I added the people following the guy who doubled his traffic overnight, and found people on the Warrior Forum who wanted to connect.

See how that works? It’s fairly simple, but I’ll explain it again. Find someone who is interested in the same sorts of things you are, (for me it’s general internet stuff), who is working very hard to get a lot of connections on Google Plus.

Find the people who have that person in their circles, and add those people to your circles, perhaps as acquaintances, (that’s what I’m doing), and there’s a good chance that they will add you back, because they added the first guy back.
