Facebook Page Ranking

Facebook SEO Techniques

Ranking a Facebook page on Facebook is easier than a lot of people think, as much of the Edgerank algorithms that Facebook use to determine which pages rank highest is the amount of likes.Facebook SEO

Some of the other signals they’re looking for is the amount of engagement with the fans, such as the likes and comments on posts.

They care about the amount of times a post is shared, but I’m fairly certain that 90% of it is the amount of likes, and as such, it’s really easy to rank on Facebook for a keyword phrase that would be practically impossible on Google.

If you’re interested in buying some likes, you can visit the payment page, buy Facebook page likes, where I sell them for around four cents each, or you can get in contact with me at rowan@professionalsocialpromotion.com to talk about prices for different things.

The other side of ranking a Facebook page is of course ranking it on Google, and that needs a more complicated strategy.

Ranking A Facebook Page On Google

Many of my Facebook pages are on the first page of a Google search, for keyword phrases such as social media tricks, affordable social media marketing services, writing for profit, etc.

I don’t go after searches with too much competition, because it’s hard to rank anything for a search with more than a few thousand exact match searches a month.

It is however quite easy to rank a Facebook page on Google, by following these simple steps, which I also explain in the video.

Choose a title that has at least a hundred exact match searches a month, preferably over a thousand, if you’re willing to put the time in.

First, check the page rank of the first page results, using something like SEO Quake, or the Firefox plugin from SEO Book.

If the first few results have a page rank lower than two, that’s a fairly good indication that there’s not a huge amount of competition for that search.

The likes are important for getting some high page rank, do follow cross links on Facebook, and you can also link multiple related pages together to achieve the same result.

Then, you need to make high quality back links to your pages from outside Facebook, like from your website, from a blog, from Hub Pages, Ezine, eHow, Triond, Knoji, prlog.org, Go Articles, and also from social media.

Even a no follow link from Twitter can influence rankings, and there are a bunch of other article writing sites like Bukisa that have no follow links as well.

You don’t want to spam links, but build them steadily over time, and remember to update your page with relevant content, not going over the 3% keyword density for the text on the page.

It’s hard not to do that on Facebook, because every time you post something, it contains the title in the post, but just try to fill up every part of the page with good quality stuff, and make some custom tabs, add photos and videos, etc.

My main Facebook page is outranking my site for the same keywords, at least in some of the related searches, and I get a lot of traffic from Facebook to this site.

People are finding it on Facebook as well, because you’d be surprised at how many people search for things to do with social media marketing by using the Facebook search box.

SEO is not all that easy to explain in a short post, but what I just told you will almost surely rank a Facebook page for a low competition search on Google, although it might take a while.

The obvious benefit of that is that if your Facebook page gives people what they want, and if people like it, they will press the like button, and you will get targeted fans for your page, who you can then contact or post to.

Facebook page ranking is better than ranking a regular website in a lot of ways, because the longer it ranks for a popular search, the more likely it is to rank better over time, due to the ongoing likes, and you can put anything on a custom tab, like Pay Pal button codes.

This page will explain how to make money from your Facebook page, no matter what sort of page it is.How To Make Money From Your Facebook Page

If you have a page already with thousands of likes about your hobby, and you want to make money from it, or you have a business page advertising a product, and you want likes and traffic to it, I will explain how to do here.

Let me start by explaining how to monetize any Facebook page with your own ads. You can ad an app to your page called Just Redirect, which is easily found and installed by doing a Facebook search.

From this custom tab, you can redirect people to any URL. Try signing up to Amazon, Clickbank, Commission Junction, or a pay per action network.

You can search for an affiliate product which is related to the topic of your page, or just one with a good commission.

Edit the tab name and photo, and you can make it look and say whatever you want. Some CPA companies pay you for a view on a page, but you mostly get paid a percentage of any sales made.

If you want to put Google Adsense on the content of a page tab, you can do that as well, by getting another app called Static HTML: iFrame Tabs.

This app allows you to directly add any HTML elements you want to a page tab, so you could embed a You Tube video, put in a Pay Pal button code, or get your Google Adsense code to put together on your custom tab.

A more complicated way to do it would be to use the Developers section to put any web page in an iFrame on a tab.

You can have your whole site or a mini site on a tab, and people can navigate through it without ever leaving Facebook, although it might be easier just to get them to click on a link leading to the site.

Make Money From Your Facebook Page

I can do all of these things for you, if you have no experience in coding and HTML, for as little as fifty dollars, and design the right solution for monetizing your Facebook page.

I can also help you get your Facebook page ranked highly in a Facebook and Google search, I can get you likes, shares, comments, or whatever you want, for a very affordable price.

That’s how to make money from your Facebook page, if you have any questions, get in contact. My email is in the sidebar.

Does A Band Need A Lot Of Likes On Their Facebook Page?

Comments Off on Does A Band Need A Lot Of Likes On Their Facebook Page?

There are many reasons why it may be beneficial for a band or artist to have a lot of likes on their Facebook page, but perhaps not for the reasons that you think.Does a band need a lot of likes on their Facebook page?

Record companies and concert promoters often look at the amount of likes and followers a band has on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter to to gauge how much of a following they have, and even fans will look at those numbers and be influenced as well.

People are more likely to trust any sort of product or company more if it has the credibility of looking successful, but it doesn’t end there.

Sometimes a band will use their Facebook page as their primary band website, and if someone is searching for the band on Google, the page may not come up if it has no likes, even if there is barely any competition.

For example, the band may be called Wild Man Jesus, and when people search for it without the page being optimized for the search engines, they get random results of different combinations of those words.

They may not be able to find the band at all, even on a Facebook search if the page does not look important in the eyes of the the Facebook engine.

That’s why it’s a good idea to get some cheap numbers on your social media pages, whether it’s You Tube views, Twitter followers, Facebook page likes, or whatever.

How To Get Likes On Your Facebook Page

I am a social media specialist, and I can get you likes, followers, views, subscribers, shares, or almost anything you want to do with social media or search engine optimization for a very affordable price.

I can get you 250 likes on your band or company Facebook page for ten dollars, or 1,000 for thirty five, 2,000 for sixty, and perhaps up to 5,000 likes for a hundred and twenty.

The likes are from real accounts, but they are just random people, liking your page to get points for likes of their own.

They may have no interest in your band, or they may become a fan once they see something you post to your wall.

The point is, these random likes can lead to targeted likes when other people find your page because they were searching for you by name.

Having a large following on social media could even make the difference between being signed to a major label or not, so it’s well worth spending a few bucks on it.

You can place an order for Facebook page likes by going to the payment page where there is a ten dollar Pay Pal button, or you can pay any amount direct to my Pay Pal account, rowancasey@bigpond.com.

Then send me a message at the same email address with the URL of your Facebook page, and I’ll start getting the likes within 24 hours.

Choosing A Title For Your Facebook Page

Comments Off on Choosing A Title For Your Facebook Page

Choosing a title for your Facebook page is quite an important decision, more so than many people think.

It’s not so much about what people on Facebook will think about it, it’s about trying to compete for broad match and long-tail keyword phrases on Google.

Choosing a title for your Facebook page

My Facebook page Affordable Social Media Marketing Services is first on the first page of Google, a few spots ahead of the home page of this site, which has the same title.

The reason is simple, Facebook is a PR 9 site, and I got the exact match username, so it’s perfectly placed to rank for low to medium competition Google searches.

I didn’t really choose the domain name for this site very well, and I started off making back links to it from a different set of keywords, so I can understand why it’s not doing so well.

Anyway, it’s not just Google, people often search for popular phrases on Facebook as well, so you should try to put the most important phrase at the start of the title, and then some extra stuff at the end, to try to capture broad match searches.

Choosing The Title Of A Facebook Page

You don’t just have to make one Facebook page, you can (and probably should), try to make as many pages as you can that you can get the exact match usernames for.

It’s almost like getting a domain name, the power is really great, for almost any search.

Facebook.com/anything is well worth putting your time into updating regularly, and making back links to.

It also helps if you have a custom Facebook welcome page, and some Facebook page likes.

I can help you put together a great looking Facebook page, I can get you likes for it, advise you on engagement with your fans, set up a Facebook Ads campaign, or manage every aspect of your social media marketing campaign on Facebook, or any other site.

Choosing a title for your Facebook page is just one of many, many things that are important in your overall social media marketing campaign. Send me a message at rowan@professionalsocialpromotion.com to talk about your page, and your business generally.
