The Importance Of Making Quality Videos

I’ve been on You Tube for a few years now, and when I first started, my videos were very amateur, or they were really quite terrible.

After a lot of practice, I’ve learned how to make professional videos that look similar to television ads, and I also offer that as a service, starting at fifty dollars a video.

I also try to make them informative, and entertaining, so that people watch them all the way through to the end.

The bounce rate is very important on You Tube, in fact it’s probably the main ranking factor, so your videos have to be good, or they won’t do well, no matter how many back links you build to them, or views you get.

How To Make A Good You Tube Video

Professional You Tube VideoI can only tell you what I do, and I have a different method than many other video producers.

I don’t have a video camera, and that’s because I don’t really want to take video footage of myself talking, or anything in the real world where I live.

If I want to do that, I can use the web cam on my computer, and I have done that, but it always turns out pretty low quality, and that’s why I usually make videos using a slideshow of photos.

I take screenshots of photos I find online, from stock footage sites, or from anything that looks good on Google Images.

I put them together on iMovie, the free video making software that comes with every Mac computer.

With this, you can add a range of different transitions, moving text, visual effects, and audio files.

I create a video slideshow with text saying what I want it to say, telling a story with the images, and sometimes I add short video screenshots as well.

Then, I hire a cheap voiceover artist who can do a professional sounding reading of a script for about five dollars per minute-long take.

I’m making one at the moment called how to do SEO on a Facebook page, and I’ll add the link to it once it’s been published, so you can see what the final result looks like.

Check Out Some Of The Videos I’ve Made

You can check out some of my other videos on my You Tube channel Social Media Marketing Tips, or you might just want to look at the ones I’ve spent the most time on, like the one I put on my Facebook page Internet Marketing Strategies.

Anyway, you can either do it in that way, or hire me to do it for you, or you can just talk to a video camera if you have one.

A good way to do that is to set up a basic filming studio at home, with a white background, some strong lights, and a stand for your camera.

This can make talking to the camera seem really professional, although I personally find that my voice was made for typing.

If you want me to make you a professional You Tube video like the ones I showed you, take a look at the Cheap Video Production page on the home page of this site, and send me a message at rowan@professionalsocialpromotion.com.

Tell me exactly what you want in the video, and I’m sure I’ll be able to come up with something. I can also help you get views and promote the video, or do just about anything you want to do with internet marketing generally.

Online Video Marketing

There are many different ways to make a great video that promotes your business, and also many ways to make a total lemon.

Most people who run a business don’t know how to run a video camera, use screenshot software, or make original music.

A regular person doesn’t have a recording studio in their garage, and so they need to outsource the work of making high quality videos to publish on their channel.

The other thing is, if it costs too much too get a professional video made, and the number of customers it brings in doesn’t make a return on investment, then the whole thing could be a waste of time.

Professional Social Promotion provides a video production service which can balance quality, and affordability, resulting in a video marketing campaign that produces actual results.

I make videos by putting together screenshots of photos, or video screenshots of things I find online.

I might use Google Images to find photos that look good and relevant, and then add some music, or hire a professional voiceover artist to do a nice smooth voiceover for it.

You can see the video I made above, I did that in a few hours, and with the help of a cheap voiceover lady.

I can make you something like that for about thirty dollars, give or take, and also promote it to all of my social connections.

I can get make you a You Tube video for your business that looks like a real ad, and inspires confidence in the buyer.

Business Video Production

Why should you hire me, and not a site that specializes only in making high quality videos? You Tube Video For Business

I make videos quickly, and for a lot less money than some other video production companies.

Where they might charge fifty to a hundred dollars, or even more, I can go as low as ten dollars, or even five if you just want volume.

The thing is, you have to balance the quality so that people will watch the video all the way through, with the quantity of videos, so that you can get found in lots of random searches, and appear next to a lot of other related videos.

The way I make videos is based on how I’ve learned to do it for myself over the last few years. I try to do for you what I would do if I had your product, and I wanted the best result for the time I spent on it.

You don’t want to make videos that nobody wants to watch, that’s going to kill you, but you also don’t want to spend too long on one particular video, as it’s not entirely guaranteed whether it will do well, whether people will like it, and if it will rank for a particular search.

The Google algorithms for You Tube videos are quite hard to work out. It’s basically meant to show the best and most popular videos first, and you can’t really change much to try to rank a video like you can with any other web page.

You can make back links to it, and that helps, and the social shares are something they take into account, but the bounce rate is something that you can’t really change that much, unless you get people on a hundred computers to watch your video all the way through, which is rather impossible to do.

So, you just need a good video that people want to watch, that advertises your product well enough to result in sales, and then you want lots of those videos, to capture many different keyword phrases on Google, and also You Tube.

I can help you with all of that stuff, so send me a message, my email is in the sidebar, and tell me about what you do, and what you might want me to do in a You Tube video I made for your business.

Doing SEO for a YouTube Video

How To Do SEO For A YouTube Video

This article is about how to do SEO on a YouTube video, specifically in mid 2012, after the latest round of changes to the algorithms of Google.

First, let’s go into what those changes are, and why it’s important to bear that in mind when trying to rank any page.

The first thing you want to keep in mind is that a low quality spam back link has always been low quality, but now it’s potentially dangerous to your rankings.

If you want to rank a YouTube video, you don’t buy a Fiverr blast of 10,000 random blog comments.

You also don’t get a spun article submitted to 1,000 article directories, you don’t buy.edu links, or anything like that.

If you want to say that you do, then go ahead, but most people have realized by now that Google are seeking relevant, high quality, authority back links. Links which look natural, show relevance, and appear to be a real “vote” for the web page by other people, and that is the key to the off-page SEO of anything.

Social media shares are more important than ever these days, with the no follow links from Facebook and Twitter being ironically more important for ranking than the do follow links from sites like Digg, Redgage, She Told Me, etc.

The sites which were specifically set up for no other purpose than to improve the rankings of your site, no longer help your site rank if you abuse them, and as such, I barely even bother to add more than a handful of links to any specific page I’m trying to rank, unless it’s a very high competition phrase.

SEO For A YouTube Video

The most important thing to understand with a YouTube video is that Google can see the title, and the description, and the tags, and that’s about it, except for the bounce rate, the view count, the comments, the likes, the subscribers, the back links, the embedded views, and whether someone tried to artificially alter any of those things.SEO For a YouTube Video

Some people buy YouTube views from bots, thinking that’s going to help them. It will most often cause a lot more harm than good, as You Tube can see everything that’s going on, and it’s important to understand completely how you are getting views if you decide to use any sort of paid promotion method.

If nobody comments, or shares the video, or nobody subscribes to the channel, or clicks the like button, then it doesn’t look good, and if it has a uniform bounce rate, or anything like that, it shows up, and gets punished.

They also take into account where the traffic came from, and it’s especially good if you get traffic from the suggested videos in the sidebar, or at the end of other videos.

This shows them that people are interested in seeing your video from the way they respond to seeing the title and thumbnail.

It is possible to alter some of these figures, just through different promotion methods, and what I usually do is swap tweets with other people to promote it quickly to a fairly targeted audience who are hopefully interested enough to watch it all the way through.

It’s targeted because they have to click on a tweet that says what the video is about before they watch it. It’s similar to any other form of advertising, although Google takes tweets into account in their search algorithms, and it also creates back links on social directory sites like Social Whale, Favit, TweetMeMe, and others.

I might write a few articles about the video, or embed it in a blog post or two. I will try to get as many people to watch it as possible, but not in a way that I’m getting views that result in a high bounce rate.

I used to make videos that were just like thirty second ads, but then I realized that that’s not really what people want to see, what they want is to have entertainment and information given to them in a user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing way.

If you don’t start off with a good video that people want to watch, then all the SEO in the world is not going to help you rank your YouTube video on the first page of Google. The bounce rate will see to that, and due to all of the ways that Google can tell who your viewers are, you can’t really change that without making quality videos.

That’s how you rank a YouTube video on Google, it’s all about the quality, and if you aren’t sure of how to make a good video, there are many different types of software you can buy, courses you can take, or people you can hire to make a high quality video for you, like me for example.

If you want to talk to me about my video making skills, send me a message, my email is in the sidebar. I can do really basic videos, or the more you spend, the better it looks.

How To Rank A Video On Google

I have personally been looking into this question for a while, of how to rank a You Tube video in a popular Google search. It is not as easy as some would say it is, as there is often a lot of competition on You Tube as well, even if it’s easy to get Google to show video results for a particular search. How do you rank a You Tube video on Google?

The You Tube search engine is both really simple, and really complex at the same time. They can tell what somebody is saying in a video, and you have the option of putting a transcript on your video so that it reads the words out as you’re saying them.

This doesn’t mean that a video without a person talking will rank lower, and there are all sorts of things like the bounce rate, the amount of comments, the amount of likes, the amount of shares, and the amount of views that come into play.

There is also the keyword tags, which Google takes more notice of when it comes to You Tube videos. The reason why it takes more notice of these on a video is that they can’t always tell what a video is about except for the title and tags, if there’s not much in the description.

You can successfully mess around with some of these signals, but there are also a lot of barriers put in place to prevent you from messing around with things like views.

If you get too many views or likes too quickly, your view count will freeze, and it only unfreezes if you keep getting views in a natural looking way. Google can tell where the views are coming from, so you can’t use a traffic exchange or anything like that.

What I Do When Trying To Rank A You Tube Video

When I try to get a lot of You Tube views, I usually just share the video a lot with my tens of thousands of social connections, and there are sites where you can swap or pay for people to tweet or share your link with their social connections.

Social media is probably the best way to approach getting You Tube views, because it looks natural, it is going out to real people who are only watching the video because they were interested enough to click on the link, and it also helps with SEO, because it’s a back link from the right link text, even if it’s a no follow link.

A bunch of social shares on Facebook or Twitter seem like a natural thing that any good You Tube video would get, and so it doesn’t hurt the ranking of the video at all.

There is some debate as to whether traditional back linking methods have much effect on the ranking of a You Tube video on Google, but at the very least, back links lead to targeted views, and embedded views, and perhaps viral sharing, and this is going to help the ranking of your video.

Most people would say just make sure it’s good, and if you can’t make a video that people want to watch, then you might want to pay for some affordable video production services.

I can also provide SEO services, perhaps for your video and your site and your Facebook page at the same time. It’s a good idea for SEO to link out to multiple sites from the one back link, perhaps linking to other high authority sites at the same time.

That’s one aspect of the hilltop algorithm, which is how Google ranks “expert’ pages and “authority” pages.

You notice that Wikipedia links out to dozens of high authority sites on every page, as well as cross linking within their own site.

It’s no coincidence that they are usually ranked at the top of a Google search on almost anything, and if you could get a back link from Wikipedia, that would be awesome, but I’ve tried that, and it’s not easy.

I do know how to get people to write blog reviews, or for a fair price, I can even write them myself.

I’m not much of a writer, or I don’t really have the time to write all day long, (unless it paid well), but in order to do SEO properly, you need a lot of high quality, relevant, original content linking back to your site, or in this case video, perhaps in a link pyramid.

Along with some high quality and natural looking views, social shares, comments, likes, subscribers, channel back links, comments on other videos and channels leading to your channel, you can rank a video highly on the first page of Google.

At least that’s how it works in theory anyway. Send me a message at rowan@professionalsocialpromotion.com to talk about my social media marketing and SEO services. There are some Pay Pal buttons on the home page, or I can send you an invoice or something.
